Trisha Simmons has been acting professionally in Film and Television for over 20 years. She has been seen on TV in many roles that include... recurring on Nickelodeon’s “Amanda Show” & “All That”, as the tough Principal Stark in the ABC hit “Desperate Housewives”, in NBC's “ER” & “West Wing” and the Ryan Murphy hit recurring as Diedre in “Nip Tuck”. Her Film credits are numerous and include... “Graduation”, “Gone”, “Lady Beware”, “Kill Switch”, “The Metro Chase” and more. Trisha has enjoyed performing in several “Hallmark Hall of Fame” MOW’s as well as over 100 Commercials, Industrials, Voiceovers, and Animated Projects. She has performed on the world’s stages in Plays, Musicals, Improv Troupes and Comedy Clubs. Trisha has studied with such renowned coaches as Stella Adler, Milton Katselas, William Chow (China), and at some top creative arts institutions including......The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (England), The Actors Alley, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Pittsburgh Playhouse, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. She’s the former owner of The LA Film Actors’ Lab, one of Hollywood’s finest acting schools, and has assisted many of LA’s top producers, casting directors, agents & managers. Trisha has taught acting seminars at UCLA, Pepperdine, CAPA, and many other fine Universities and Performing Arts Schools across the country.Trisha has been hired as a Motivational Speaker in the Corporate World having worked & studied with Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Michael Beckwith, Deepak Chopra and more. She has written several books on acting. Trisha currently owns LAKidsAct, a company dedicated to young performers. Her Unique and Powerful Workshops are a mix of her Acting and Motivtional Training and have been described as ‘Lessons for Life’ not just Acting. Trisha’s students can be seen starring in films, as series regulars on TV shows, on Broadway, in Comedy Clubs, and many National Commercials......she takes pride in the fact that her students stay in touch with her....they have gone on to work in the White House, graduate from Harvard, even sell screenplays in which they’ve written her parts.
